Lab Space / Graduate Student Offices
The GRC allocates office space to graduate students. The Graduate Student Senate Psychology Representative contacts all graduate students twice annually (typically in the summer and during the Winter closure) via the departmental listserv and are prompted to complete a survey regarding office preferences for the following academic semester. Once offices are allocated, the Graduate Student Senate Psychology Representative sends the list of assignments to the office liaisons in the psychology office of Porter Hall (as of November 2024: Kara Tabor). Students may then pick up their keys from the office liaisons at their convenience.
With regards to access to lab spaces, faculty mentors notify office liaisons of key needs, and graduate students may sign them for however long is necessary.
