H. Dissemination of your Research

All students are encouraged to disseminate their research by presenting at conferences and publishing when possible. Clinical graduate students are required to disseminate their research at least once yearly by presenting or co-authoring papers. The department鈥檚 Brown Bag series is one way to gain experience presenting research; see the current Colloquium & Brown Bag Coordinator for getting on the schedule to present. Experimental graduate students are expected to present at a Brown Bag by the end of their second year.

The university鈥檚 Expo (/studentexpo) is another local and cost effective way to present research and also offers monetary prizes for presentations. For presenting at conferences in your own research area, your mentor is the best resource for the places to present.
