O. Policies and Procedures Administration Committee (PPA)
The responsibilities of the Policy, Procedures, and Advisory (PPA) Committee include advising the chair on matters related to departmental administration, reviewing departmental policies and procedures, and formulating or revising departmental policies and procedures to be voted on by the full faculty.
The Department Chair serves as the Chair of the PPA Committee. Tenure-track faculty members in each section elect one faculty member at each academic rank from their section, instructional faculty members elect one faculty member from their ranks, regional faculty members elect two members from their ranks, and graduate students in each section elect one student from their section. The Assistant Chair for Graduate Studies and the Assistant Chair for Undergraduate Studies are members ex officio. Graduate student representatives are able to vote on any non-personnel issues that come to a vote.

Q. Privacy and Confidentiality Concerns
According to FERPA, all students have rights regarding their personal and educational information. 花季传媒 also has a Student Records policy that details what information is protected by FERPA, how and who can access it, how to disclose it, etc.

The University鈥檚 Ombudsperson may be a good resource if you are unsure how to interpret these policies or feel your or others鈥 rights have been violated.
All students are mandated reporters (except clinical students when working in a clinical setting only per confidentiality policy). While not limited to the following, this includes concerns about sexual misconduct, hazing, child or elder abuse or neglect, and concerns about somebody hurting themselves or someone else. To make a report about an incident or a concern you have about another person or yourself, see the various options through the Office of the Dean of Students.
Clinical students who plan to complete an externship/traineeship or an internship at a VA should note that the VA requires the Director of Clinical Training to complete a form that asks some personal information (including, for example, your self-reported completion of vaccinations, health status to do the physical tasks required of the position, whether you have registered for selective service) and also requires that you take a TB test and show the results to the Director of Clinical Training. As this is a requirement at the federal level, there is no way to avoid this kind of disclosure to the Director of Clinical Training should a clinical student want to train in this setting.
