The day after graduating with his BSJ from The E. W. Scripps School of Journalism, Chuck started his career at Lowe & Partners, New York. He worked on brands he鈥檇 grown up with like Diet Coke, Sprite, and Citibank. He later worked at WB Doner, the nation鈥檚 largest independently owned advertising agency, before taking a Creative Director position at Ogilvy & Mather in Atlanta. Afterward, things really got rolling back in New York at the Omnicom agency, Merkley + Partners. He led the creative efforts on Arby鈥檚 restaurants, AXA Equitable, Mercedes-Benz, Glenfiddich Whisky, and the Ad Council鈥檚 effort to combat online sexual predators. From Merkley, Chuck moved on to DDB, where he ran brands like Subaru, Lipton鈥檚 hot and iced teas, Breyer鈥檚 Ice Cream, Klondike Bars, Popsicle and Hertz Rental Cars in the New York office.

Chuck is now thrilled to be back at his alma mater, teaching advertising creativity, capstone classes and advising the student-run advertising agency, NEXT, as the managing director of the program.
