To be eligible for admission to the Department of Physical Therapy, you must meet the following requirements:

  • The minimum overall Grade Point Average (GPA) and prerequisite GPA is 3.0 on a 4.0 grading scale. The average GPA of recent classes has been approximately 3.6 to 3.7.

International applicants must provide GPA verification through a credential evaluation by a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). Many applicants use the World Education Services, Inc.

Pre-requisite coursework must provide the foundational knowledge necessary for success in the DPT program.

Minimum TOEFL and IELTS scores can be found on the OHIO Graduate College website.  More information on English Language Proficiency Requirements can be found on the website.
