Advising for All Students

  • Advising for International Students

International students should be sure to visit the Office of International Student and Scholar Services before changing their schedule. Advisors are available to help with immigration compliance, travel permissions, work restrictions, and more.

  • Study Away Advising

If you are preparing for your study away experience, the Office of Global Opportunities can help advise you on current programs, partner institutions, and funding opportunities. We recommend students consult an advisor a few semesters before they hope to go abroad as funding applications are often due before program applications.

We also recommend that you work with your academic advisor to ensure your study away experience meets graduation requirements.

  • Career Advising

For additional help pursuing your dream career, we encourage students to take advantage of the excellent resources available on campus.

CIS students may receive course credit for their internship work. Please consult the sample syllabus to learn about requirements. Undergraduate students should contact Dr. Cutcher with questions. Graduate students should contact the program director.
