
Cale Burke
Cale G. Burke, M.S., M.P.A. is a Senior Project Manager at »¨¼¾´«Ã½â€™s Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service, where he supports applied research and evaluation initiatives focused on behavioral health, recovery systems, and community well-being. His work integrates systems thinking, public value creation, and peer-informed practice to strengthen cross-sector collaboration and enhance recovery-oriented outcomes throughout Ohio.
Mr. Burke is a person in long-term recovery from Alcohol Use Disorder, maintaining continuous sobriety since 2009. His lived experience informs a professional approach grounded in empathy, evidence-based practice, and organizational learning.
Before joining the Voinovich School, Mr. Burke served as a Project Manager for Ohio Citizens Advocates for Addiction Recovery, where he provided statewide technical assistance to Recovery Community Organizations and advanced peer-support programming. He also worked as a Peer Supporter in the emergency department at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, providing direct assistance to individuals in acute behavioral health crises.
Mr. Burke holds a Master of Science in Marketing and Communication from Franklin University. He also earned a Master of Public Administration from »¨¼¾´«Ã½, where he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Health Communication. His research examines how communication networks and public value frameworks can strengthen behavioral health systems, reduce stigma, and promote equitable access to recovery resources.
A U.S. Navy veteran who served during Operation Desert Storm, Mr. Burke remains active in supporting veterans and recovery initiatives across Ohio.
