��ý to celebrate Homecoming Oct. 13-18

Homecoming Week 2025 will kick off on Oct. 13, 2025, with the Homecoming football game against Northern Illinois on Oct. 18.

��ý will welcome Bobcats from around the world back to campus for Homecoming Oct. 13-18.

Homecoming 2025 is slated to host a combination of traditional events, including the annual Alumni Awards Ceremony, the Homecoming Parade in uptown Athens, the Bobcat Family Tent and the OHIO football game against. Northern Illinois on Frank Solich Field at Peden Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 18.

“We can’t wait to welcome our alumni and friends as they return to our memorable campus this fall to celebrate, reminisce and reconnect with one another,” said Jennifer Bowie, associate vice president of Alumni Relations and the executive director of the ��ý Alumni Association. “This uniquely OHIO experience is one of my favorite moments of the year. Whether you watch the parade on the live stream or on Court Street, take in the Football game at Peden Stadium or simply wear your Bobcat gear with pride wherever you are, you're an important part of OHIO's Homecoming tradition.”

Homecoming 2025 will kick off on Monday, Oct. 13, and all students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members are invited to this year’s events.

All Bobcats are also invited to join the excitement and be a part of OHIO's Homecoming Parade. Student organizations, alumni groups, community organizations, and local business, are welcome to participate in making this event memorable.

Parade registration ends at the end of the day on Thursday, Oct. 9 (11:59 p.m.).

Homecoming 2025 events include

– Wednesday, Oct. 15 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Konneker Alumni Center. The Student Alumni Board will be collecting non-perishable food items and personal care products to benefit the Athens County Food Pantry and the Cats’ Cupboard.

– Wednesday, Oct. 15 beginning at noon in Patton Hall Room 232. Patton College alumna Darcy Haag Granello, Ph.D., will present "Servant Research: A Philosophical and Organizational Framework for Research that Makes a Difference."

– Oct. 16-19 on campus and in Uptown Athens. Gather a team of up to six and explore Athens. Snap a photo with Rufus at any five locations and submit your pics to be entered to win awesome OHIO prizes.

– Thursday, Oct. 16 from 6-8 p.m. at the Scripps Amphitheater. The pre-party begins at 6 p.m. where there will be yard games, photobooth, and live music. The main event runs from 7-8 p.m. where you can enjoy performances such as the Marching 110 and special guests like the football team and Rufus.

– Saturday, Oct. 18 beginning at 9:30 a.m. Can't make it to Athens for Homecoming? No problem. Enjoy a livestream of the Homecoming Parade.

– Saturday, Oct. 18 from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. After the Homecoming Parade, keep the celebration going with the Alumni Association at the Ping Rec Center Lawn.

– Saturday, Oct. 18 beginning at 3:30 p.m. at Frank Solich Field at Peden Stadium
