Holly Kidd named career development coordinator at OHIO Lancaster

Holly Kidd was recently named career development coordinator at ý Lancaster. Her passion for helping people succeed led her to this new position.

“I am thrilled to join the OHIO Lancaster community,” Kidd said. “For many of our students, this is the last step before launching their careers. Helping them clarify their goals and coaching them through each stage of the journey will be both challenging and rewarding for them and for me.”

As the new career development coordinator, Kidd will play an important role in providing services and resources that support students’ professional growth and leadership development.

Career Services at OHIO is committed to the support and success of Bobcats throughout their career engagement life cycle, and career coaches partner with students to develop customized plans that align with their post-graduation goals. Students can schedule tailored appointments to meet their individual priorities, whether they are exploring majors, preparing résumés, building a LinkedIn profile, or embarking on job searches and graduate school applications.

“We are so excited to welcome Holly to our campus community. Her background in business and her passion for empowering individuals to succeed make her a tremendous addition to our student services team,” said Martha Kline, interim dean of campus and community relations at ý Lancaster. “Her work will not only benefit our students as they prepare for their careers, but it will also strengthen our connections with alumni, local employers, and community partners.”

“Never stop building your network and never stop learning,” Kidd advises students. When asked about her approach to career services at OHIO Lancaster, she emphasized action-oriented coaching that turns long-term career goals into practical, short-term steps students can take now.

“My goal is to help students get started on their best career path,” she said. “College is about learning, but it is also a time to discover who you are and to develop into the person you want to become.”

Kidd encourages community members and employers to engage with students by sharing career pathways, creating job-shadow opportunities, and offering internships.
