Emeritus Professor Daniel Torres to hold poetry reading for new book on Oct. 16

Emeritus Professor Daniel Torres will present his new book “In the Empire of the Senses,” at Little Professor Book Center and have a poetry reading on Thursday, Oct. 16, at 6:30 pm.

“In the Empire of the Senses,” is collection of poetry written from 1981 to 2025 translated from Spanish by Eïrïc R. Durändal Stormcrow, editor of Gnomo. Torres is a professor emeritus of Spanish in ������ý’s Department of Modern Languages in the College of Arts and Sciences.

The evening will be sponsored by the Department of Modern Languages, Latin American Studies, and Sigma Delta Pi. All students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to attend.
