Dr. Tudor has demonstrated a deep and unwavering devotion to ensuing student success. Students describe her classes as challenging and rigorous. She is enthusiastic about her discipline and passionate about helping students learn.
When a former OHIO Lancaster student faced a number of rejections from doctoral programs due to widespread funding cuts, Dr. Tudor stepped in. She became a mentor, a lifeline, and a sounding board - offering advice and unwavering support - often via late night phone calls. In the end, that student was accepted into on of 花季传媒鈥檚 doctoral programs. Because she went the extra mile to advocate for the student, they are now able to continue their academic studies.
- Dr. Tudor teaches primarily pre-nursing courses that have created dynamic, hands-on experiences for students. These include incorporating real medical case studies into the curriculum. Dissecting and preparing a human cadaver for instructional use and leading live experiments that include everything from recording electrocardiograms to testing the effects of caffeine on frog hearts.
- Students in Dr. Tudor鈥檚 class don鈥檛 just memorize facts, they apply knowledge, develop critical thinking skills and engage in thoughtful discussions that require them to apply course content beyond the textbook. Often talking about things from medical ethics to lifestyle factors affecting student health.
- The cadaver lab, one of the rarest resources for undergrad students, has inspired some of the most powerful classroom conversations. This helps students see the real world applications of their learning.
- Dr. Tudor has 鈥渇lipped鈥 her classroom to help students take more ownership of their learning. She provides recording of lectures for flexibility and student review outside of class.
- Dr. Tudor makes learning fun by developing a host of creative learning tools from worksheets to interactive games.
- Dr. Tudor co-chairs the annual STEM Discover Day which brings 350 to 400 middle school students to OHIO Lancaster for hands-on learning. In the past year, she collaborate to raise nearly $18,000 to make this event possible, assisting with grant writing and sponsorship efforts.

"Dr. Tudor is a tremendous professor who goes above and beyond for her students. While A&P can be a very stressful course due to heavy lecture material, Dr. Tudor incorporates an abundance of interesting, exciting, hands-on labs throughout her classes. She never fails to ensure that her students fully understand the material and will schedule aside time to talk through the course load as much as one needs to leave an exam feeling confident. She is a highly supportive, honest woman. Because of her, I have determined the best study approach that benefits myself in my studies. The proof is in my higher grades, which has led to a higher GPA as well as scholarship awarding. She has been patient, direct, thorough, and it is obvious that she takes genuine interest in her career. Dr. Tudor is dedicated to her work and her students, and she inspires me to keep the motivation ongoing to my schoolwork and the future."
