Calling all violinists, violists, and cellists! Spend a full day at »¨¼¾´«Ã½ immersed in music-making, learning, and inspiration alongside world-class performers and faculty. This free event is designed to give high school musicians a taste of life as a music student, while offering unique opportunities to grow as a player.

Event Highlights

9:30 AM - Coffee Social – Meet other passionate string players, OU faculty, and current students.

10:00 Am - Chamber Music Seminar: Chamber Music Deconstructed â€“ Explore the art of small ensemble playing with professional musicians.

11:00 AM - Chamber Music Masterclass – Watch and learn as the Callisto String Quartet coaches participants and OU students.

12:00 PM - Lunch & Campus Tours  â€“ Get a feel for campus life and see what it’s like to study music at »¨¼¾´«Ã½.

1:00–4:00 PM - Violin, Viola, & Cello Masterclasses  â€“ Receive individualized guidance from Callisto Quartet members and OU string faculty.

4:00 PM - Callisto String Quartet in Concert â€“ Experience an inspiring performance by this acclaimed ensemble.
