
Golsa Rajaei

Golsa Rajaei is an emerging interior architectural designer with a background in residential design and a passion for sustainable and human-centered environments. Originally from Iran and currently based in Massachusetts, she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture from »¨¼¾´«Ã½ in 2025. Throughout her academic journey, Golsa has focused on creating spaces that enhance well-being, accessibility, and community connection.
She has hands-on experience working in the design industry, including her current position as a kitchen and bath designer at Home Depot. Her past experience also includes working with a contractor firm on a range of residential projects, where she developed skills in space planning, client consultation, and 3D visualization. Golsa’s design approach blends creativity with practical solutions, always considering environmental impact and user experience.
In addition to her design work, Golsa has been involved in research and exhibition planning, contributing to group projects that explore the future of the built environment. Her senior thesis project, EcoRise, focuses on sustainable, mixed-use housing for vulnerable populations, inspired by the Via Verde housing model in New York.
Golsa has been accepted into the Master of Architecture program at UMass Amherst, where she plans to deepen her knowledge in architectural theory, building technologies, and community-focused design. She is also passionate about teaching and hopes to inspire future designers through education.
When she's not designing, Golsa enjoys walking in nature, watching films, and learning new languages. She believes in the power of design to improve lives and is committed to creating spaces that are not only beautiful but also inclusive, sustainable, and meaningful.
