Fall into Wellness
In August, we welcomed our new community members and our new and returning students. September brings us closer to the beginning of autumn. Autumn is associated with harvest and abundance. It is also connected to transitions and allowing a time for letting go, rest, and renewal. I invite you to reflect on what renewal means or looks like for you.
Although our semester is just getting started, many of us already feel overwhelmed or tired. I encourage you to take time to connect with yourself and others. Continue to smile at one another, hold the door open and give a gentle hello. Take a coloring break or review our world map to glimpse one aspect of the diversity in our Patton community. Consider inviting a colleague for a short walk. Connecting helps us spread good vibes.
If you are looking for a moment to slow down, consider joining Kristin Chamberlain as she leads us through gentle Chair Yoga on Tuesday, Oct. 14 and Nov. 11 from 10 to 11 am. Feel free to join when you are able. We will gather in the Lyceum (Patton Hall 244, just outside the mailroom).
Be Well. Stay Well.
