CHSP Faculty Mentorship Program

The College of Health Sciences and Professions (CHSP) is pleased to announce the launch of our Faculty Mentoring Program, designed to support the development and success of our clinical, instructional, and tenure-track faculty members. This program aims to foster professional growth through mentorship, guidance, and collaboration.

Program Overview

The Faculty Mentoring Program offers three distinct tracks:

  1. Tenure-Track Faculty Mentoring: Early-career tenure-track faculty can benefit from this program as they prepare for the promotion and tenure process. Mentors will provide strategic advice on research, teaching, and navigating institutional challenges.
  2. Clinical Faculty Mentoring: This program is available to new clinical faculty who have not yet undergone the promotion process. Mentors will guide mentees through their academic journey, helping them navigate teaching responsibilities, clinical work, and research opportunities.
  3. Instructional Faculty Mentoring: Designed for instructional faculty, this program focuses on enhancing teaching effectiveness and service engagement. Mentors assist in developing courses, evaluating teaching strategies, and providing insights into departmental and university resources.
